Questions
Questions and answers
Is Alpen Pass the official test app?
No. Alpen Pass is an independent study aid. It does not represent any government entity, has no link to the BMI, any state government, MA 35 or the ÖIF, and cannot register you for the test. Ask your state government about registering and your date.
Are these the questions of the real test?
No. Every question is our own, written from the official study booklets in the format of the test, and names its booklet and page so you can check it. Most state booklets list possible questions without answers; a state question in the app notes which of them it covers.
How is a question scored?
As in § 3 StbP-V: all right answers ticked is 1 point, only some of them is part of the point, and any wrong tick is 0.
When do I pass the mock exam?
As in § 5 StbP-V: with at least half the points in every area (3 of 6), or with two thirds of all points (12 of 18).
Why is the question in German when I chose another language?
The test is in German, so questions and answers stay German, with a line in your language under each. Menus, study chapters and explanations are fully in your language. Choose the help line language, or turn it off, in Settings, Translation under questions.
Why can I not take a screenshot in Practice?
Practice and the mock exam are kept out of screenshots and the recent apps preview. The study chapters, the guide and the words are not.
What is free and what is Pro?
Free: every study chapter, the guide to the procedure, the word list and 30 questions. Pro, 19.99 EUR once: every question, the mock exam, planned repetition and the mistakes list.
I bought Pro on my old phone.
Open Settings, Pro, and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Google account.
I moved my phone and my progress is gone.
Progress stays only on the phone where you made it. Alpen Pass is left out of Android's backup and the copy to a new phone on purpose.
Does it need internet?
No. It has no internet permission. Only buying Pro goes through the Google Play app, and the official PDFs, this guide and the privacy policy open in your browser.
Does it collect my data?
No. No account, no ads, no analytics. See the privacy policy.
Something in a question is wrong or out of date.
Please report it. Laws, booklets and office holders change; facts that change with elections show the month they were true.
Which Android version do I need?
Android 10 or newer.
